Integrated Care: next steps to build strong and effective integrated care systems across England

• Proposal to replace the central commissioning role of Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) by moving all regions in England toward the Integrated Care System (ICS) model and given designated ICSs statutory footing to hold responsibility and accountability for commissioning

Surrey County Council response to consultation.

Decision made:

It was AGREED to submit the proposed attached response to the consultation outlined above.

Reasons for Decision:

The responses to the consultation will be submitted to Government so that it can be considered in relation to any future decision on the proposal.
