The members supported a proposal to introduce a safer crossing between Redding Way and the Broadway. It was noted that this was unlikely to be a controlled crossing but a safe crossing.

With regards to the spur road between the Broadway and Redding Way, it was noted the current restrictions mean that any car users currently using the un-operational bus gate are doing so illegally and could be prosecuted by the police.
