Temporary Appointment to the Statutory Post of Director of Children's Services

    The incumbent Director of Children's Services (Executive Director of Children. Families, Lifelong Learning & Culture) died in post in June 2020. The role of Director of Children's Services is a statutory post so an interim Director must be appointed as a matter of urgency and cannot reasonably be deferred.

     

    The Chairman of the People, Performance and Development Committee has agreed that this business is urgent and cannot be deferred due to truly exceptional circumstances.
