    Recommendation: That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

    Decision:

    That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE ESTATE OF A DECEASED PERSON TO RECOVER A DEBT

    That the Cabinet Member appoint Carmel Briody, Principal Lawyer to apply as nominee in applications to administer the estate of a deceased person to recover a debt owed to the Council.

     

    Decision:

    1.    That Carmel Briody, Principal Lawyer be appointed to apply as nominee in application to administer the estate of a deceased person [Exempt Minute E-17-21].

     

    2.    That Carmel Briody, Principal Lawyer be authorised to seal copies of each of the nominations made for the purposes of the application. This will enable the Council to apply to administer the estate of the deceased debtor and recover debts more effectively.
