This document provides Board members with a regular update on key areas for the services which support the delivery of Corporate Parenting across the county. It also provides a summary of the Alerts and Escalations raised on behalf of children by the Independent Reviewing Service.

ACHIEVING EXCELLENCE - IMPROVEMENT UPDATE REPORT
This Improvement Update is being provided to the Corporate Parenting Board primarily for information and awareness of the various transformation projects and improvement activity currently underway across Surrey’s children’s services.
As agreed at an earlier meeting, the content of this report is now more focused on corporate parenting services supporting children in care and care leavers however some key updates across other parts of children’s services are included where relevant. Further information can be provided on any of the information included in this report.
