Please note possible
changes to future meetings in light of the national situation
regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.
Surrey County Council’s Local Committee
(Reigate and Banstead) was set up in 2002 to bring the County
Council and its services closer to people in Reigate and Banstead
and improve partnership working between Surrey County Council and
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.
The Local Committee currently consists of 10
County Councillors and 10 co-opted Borough Councillors, and meets 4
times a year. Issues discussed include highways, transport, youth
provision, education, libraries, community safety, and other
matters affecting local residents and businesses.
County Councillors provide funding to local
projects and initiatives making a difference to the community
– please contact your Councillor (details below) to find out
how to make an application.
Members of the public are welcome to attend
Local Committee meetings and are encouraged to engage with the
Committee via petitions and public question time.
