Following agreement on Surrey Fire and Rescue Service’s business case for transformation, the service are preparing to consult on a new Integrated Risk Management Plan. As set out by the Fire and Rescue Service National Framework, the plan sets out our priorities to keep the public safe, this will amend our current response cover and provide a greater emphasis on community and business safety activity, and it will also provide further proposals focused around our cultural transformation.
In order to transform, we need to realign resources and the culture of the service. We need to shift our focus to prevent emergencies happening by investing in business and community safety.
