The parking situation down Fairlawns is ridiculous. Most residents are unable to park down their own road due to lack of spaces. The green area by the garages is unmaintained by the council and is always overgrown, meaning this space is unused. The parking situation would be eased if additional spaces were made available to residents. One of the trees was already cut down so there's not major work needed, just the removal of the grass and wooden posts. Not only would the parking spaces ease the parking issue but it would make the road more accessible as more often than not people are parking on the bend which can sometimes cause issues for access for emergency services, delivery vehicles and utility service providers (waste disposal, Thames water, British Gas etc). The concrete slab path is very uneven, this is a major trip hazard, I take my daughter across the road instead of this path for this reason as she has tripped and hurt herself many times. Overall the removal of the greenery and concrete path would benefit all residents.
