Surrey's Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy

Cabinet is asked to:

  1. Review and endorse the draft Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Surrey ahead of it being presented to the Surrey Health and Wellbeing Board for approval;
  2. Review and endorse the proposal for a Committees-in-Common arrangement with Surrey’s NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups; and
  3. Delegate decision-making authority to a sub-committee of the Cabinet consisting of the [membership to be confirmed together with final scope and scale of delegation].

The draft Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy is the product of significant engagement with stakeholders from across Surrey over a three month period. It is also informed by a range of resident engagement and feedback activity undertaken by partners.

A dedicated engagement period for the draft Strategy begins in late February and will close in late March. During this period all stakeholders and the public will have the opportunity to comment on the draft Strategy.
