The draft ‘Healthy Streets for Surrey’ Design Guide was considered by Cabinet in April 2021 prior to initial stakeholder engagement in May/June 2021. Informed by this, the detailed guidance was been produced in late 2021/early 2022 and is currently undergoing further stakeholder engagement (until September 2022). This report will summarise the main themes emerging from the stakeholder engagement and will also invite Cabinet to endorse the finalised street design guidance and to adopt the approach for all new developments in the County.
