Alternative Provision (AP) Capital Programme

That Cabinet Approves the movement of £23.5m Alternative Provision Capital funding from pipeline to budget and notes the use of £14.7m grant funding to enable delivery of the £38.2m programme in full. This is in order provide a total of 240 state-maintained alternative provision school places for children with who cannot attend mainstream educational settings because of permanent exclusion, health, emotional or mental health needs from September 2024 onwards.
