It is recommended that Cabinet:
· Note the response to the public and stakeholder consultation, agree the recommendations for changes to the public bus network, with service changes to be implemented at the start of the new academic year in September 2023, agree the recommended priority areas for Greener Futures capital investment to support bus services and help grow bus patronage, agree the recommended areas for expansion of new Digital Demand Responsive Transport and the investment required to deliver these flexible and innovative transport services and agree the process and timescales for updating the Bus Service Improvement Plan and Enhanced Partnership Scheme.

Public and stakeholder consultation that ran from 3 November 2022 to 6 January 2023, which generated more than 2,600 responses. This included:
A targeted social media campaign to highlight the consultation to younger people and to solicit a greater level of response.
Meeting with the ATLAS Group of Surrey Youth Voice to better understand the view of younger residents on our bus services and our proposals for change and investment. This were supported by a literature review of the barriers for young people in using public transport.
