Securing A County Deal For Surrey

 

 

Cabinet is asked to:

  1. Note the indicative timeline for securing a Level 2 County Deal for Surrey and devolving available functions and powers to the County Council. 
  2. Note the initial offer set out by DLUHC as included in the report and endorse officers to move forward with negotiations to agree a draft deal with DLUHC.
  3. Approve the proposals to engage stakeholders ahead of agreeing a final deal with government and approve the plan to take the draft deal to Council to agree a County Deal for Surrey with Government in April 2024.
