Purpose:
To extend the existing contracts with providers of Short Break Services for Children with Disabilities on a short-term basis for 12 months. This is to allow for continuation of these services until 31 March 2014 while re-commissioning plans are being finalised.
Decision:
The extension of the Disability Challengers contract for six months from 1 April 2014 until 30 September 2014 be approved.
