Purpose:

To approve entering into an agreement with Guildford Borough Council under section 256 of the Highways Act 1980, whereby the land required for the footway widening will be exchanged for the highway land which is to be used for the relocation of the parking spaces

 

Decision:

Subject to the requirements of section 256 of the Highways Act 1980, the County Council enter into an agreement with Guildford Borough Council for the exchange of highway land as detailed in the report submitted.
