To provide the outcomes and recommendations of Surrey Highways Strategic Road Maintenance Review which will enable the authority to reduce the historic backlog over the next five years
Decision:
It was AGREED that the arrangements for risk assessment be agreed and adopted as part of the revised Highway Safety Inspection Policy and that the approved policy now be implemented.
Reasons for the decision:
As above, following a detailed review of the service delivery over the last few months, development of processes and systems to asses and mitigate risk has reached a point where implementation of the changes/service revisions is now considered appropriate.
