Issue - meetings

This report updates the Committee on the progress with current schemes and budgets for 2014-15, and proposes new schemes for progression in 2015-16 (subject to available budget). Andrew Milne (Area Highways manager) will present the report.

The Local Committee (Runnymede) agreed to:

i) note the progress with schemes and revenue funded works for the 2014-15 financial year;

ii) note the budgetary position;

iii) subject to the annual budget allocation, to approve the proposed capital works programme for 2015/16;

iv) note that a further Highways update will be brought to the next meeting of the Committee.

Mr Andrew Milne asked members to note the tabled report, which included a new section (2.3.4) on Egham High Street. He noted that the St Jude’s Road/Egham Hill scheme was on schedule to complete in March, and that good progress had been made on the Windsor Road (A308) with improvements for the Magna Carta site.

Members commented on the drainage and ditching budget underspend, illuminated street bollards replacement, and the need to confirm the capital budget available to the Local Committee for 2015-16.
