Meeting: 25/09/2019 - Surrey-Wide Commissioning Committees in Common (Item 5.)
Adult Social Care supports a range of people with a mental health and/or substance misuse problem. Some of these individuals can be helped to recover through the provision of supported living services. This paper outlines Adult Social Care’s new strategic approach to working with the providers of supported living in Surrey. It also provides details on how the Council wishes to engage with the market to make sure that people who need this level of support experience good quality care that the Council can afford.

Decision:
The following recommendations were agreed:
1. Approved the implementation of the strategic commissioning approach to supported living for adults with a mental health and/or substance misuse problem.
2. Approved the award of Dynamic Purcashing System Agreements for Supported Living to the successful providers for the provision of high quality, value for money services to individuals.
3. The recommendation laid out in the Part 2 report was approved.
