Senior Appointment of Executive Director Children's Families and Lifelong Learning

    The People, Performance and Development Committee is asked to proceed with interviewing for the post of Executive Director Childrens Families and Lifelong Learning.

    Key points raised during the discussion:

     

    1.     The People, Performance and Development Committee conducted final interviews for the role of Executive Director for Children, Families and Lifelong Learning at Surrey County Council.

    2.     During the interview, the candidate responded to a number of set questions asked by the Committee. Following the end of the interview, Members discussed the performance of the candidate in detail and agreed that Rachael Wardell demonstrated the skills and experience necessary to be Executive Director for Children, Families and Lifelong Learning.

     

    RESOLVED:

     

    The People, Performance and Development Committee agreed to appoint Rachael Wardell to the role of Executive Director for Children, Families and Lifelong Learning.
