    To receive any declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests from Members in respect of any item to be considered at the meeting.

     

    Notes:

    ·        In line with the Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012, declarations may relate to the interest of the member, or the member’s spouse or civil partner, or a person with whom the member is living as husband or wife, or a person with whom the member is living as if they were civil partners and the member is aware they have the interest.

    ·        Members need only disclose interests not currently listed on the Register of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

    ·        Members must notify the Monitoring Officer of any interests disclosed at the meeting so they may be added to the Register.

    ·        Members are reminded that they must not participate in any item where they have a disclosable pecuniary interest.

Exclusion of the Public

    That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Leatherhead Trinity Primary School

    Leatherhead Trinity Primary is a two-form entry (2FE) school operating across two sites in Leatherhead providing a total of 420 places plus a nursery and children’s centre. 13 of the classrooms are located at the Woodvill Road site providing 390 places including a 30 place reception class. The remaining 30 place reception class is in a single classroom located at the Aperdele Road site.

Decision:

1.    The business case for the project at Leatherhead Trinity Primary School be approved up to the maximum cost set out in the report.

 

2.    The arrangements by which a variation of up to 10% of the total value may be agreed by the Strategic Director for Business Services and the Cabinet Member for Assets and Regeneration Programmes, in consultation with the Leader be agreed.

 

3.    That a contract be awarded to carry out the works to relocate the classroom as set out in the report.

Trumps Green Infant School, Englefield Green

    Trumps Green was a one-from entry infant school (90 places) which was reorganised in 2012 to a two-form entry infant school (180 places) an increase of 90 places. In September 2014 the school will reach the capacity of 180 places. In 2013 Phase 1 of the project delivered an initial 60 places. The school requires an additional classroom, group room and associated toilets to be able to accommodate the final 30 places of the expansion.

Decision:

1.    The business case for the project at Trumps Green Infant School be approved up to a maximum cost as set out in the report for the final phase 2 of the expansion project.

 

2.    Award of the contract to carry out the works to relocate the classroom be approved as set out in the report.
