EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

    Recommendation: That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972 and in accordance with the Panel’s agreed protocol, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

    Minutes:

    RESOLVED: That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972 and in accordance with the Panel’s agreed protocol, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

COMPLAINT AGAINST THE SURREY POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER

    In accordance with the Elected Local Policing Bodies (Complaints and Misconduct) Regulations 2012 and the Panel’s agreed complaints protocol, the Complaints Sub-Committee is asked to seek the informal resolution of the attached complaint.

Minutes:

The Complaints Sub-Committee received a complaint against the Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC). Having considered the original complaint, additional comments provided by the complainant and a statement from the PCC, the Sub-Committee unanimously agreed to uphold the complaint and that the PCC’s conduct had been inappropriate.

 

RESOLVED: That a letter be sent to the Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner setting out the findings of the Complaints Sub-Committee, and a copy sent to the Complainant.
