EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

    Recommendation: That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972 and in accordance with the Panel’s agreed protocol, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

    Minutes:

    RESOLVED: That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972

    and in accordance with the Panel’s agreed protocol, the public be excluded

    from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they

    involve the likely disclosure of exempt information under Paragraph 1 of Part

    1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

COMPLAINT AGAINST THE SURREY POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER (PCC)

    In accordance with the Elected Local Policing Bodies (Complaints and Misconduct) Regulations 2012 and the Panel’s agreed complaints protocol, the Complaints Sub-Committee is asked to seek the informal resolution of the attached complaints.

Minutes:

The Complaints Sub-Committee received two complaints against the Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC).

 

Complaint A:

Having considered the original complaint, and a statement from the PCC, the Sub-Committee unanimously agreed to not uphold the complaint.

 

Complaint B:

Having considered the original complaint, and a statement from the PCC, the Sub-Committee unanimously agreed to not uphold the complaint.

COMPLAINT AGAINST THE DEPUTY POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER (DPCC)

    In accordance with the Elected Local Policing Bodies (Complaints and Misconduct) Regulations 2012 and the Panel’s agreed complaints protocol, the Complaints Sub-Committee is asked to seek the informal resolution of the attached complaint.

     

Minutes:

The Complaints Sub-Committee received one complaint against the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey (DPCC).

 

Complaint C:

Having considered the original complaint, and a statement from the DPCC, the Sub-Committee unanimously agreed to not uphold the complaint.

PUBLICITY OF PART 2 ITEMS

    • Share this item

    To consider whether the items considered under Part 2 of the agenda should be made available to the press and public.

    Minutes:

    The Committee agreed there would not be any disclosure of the discussion to the press and public.

     

    RESOLVED: That a letter be sent to the Complainants, the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, setting out the findings of the Complaints Sub- Committee.
