Following several traffic related incidents in Binscombe Crescent, Farncombe, including the destruction of property and death of a pet, the residents of Binscombe Crescent have signed this petition asking the council to consider changing the speed limit to a maximum of 20MPH on our road and/or adding speed bumps. There are many families with young children on this road and we have serious concerns that motorists do not drive down this road with due care and attention.
There is also a serious need for the road to be resurfaced.
There is almost no tread on the road and it becomes extremely
dangerous in wet and/or icy conditions, particularly when coupled
with the speed issues outlined above.
