To approve the local contribution [matched funding] required for transport schemes to be started during 2015/16 and 2016/17 period, in order to secure LEP funding for these schemes.
Government is expected to announce the allocation to the LEPs, for transport infrastructure, during July 2014.
To secure the LEP funding for 2015/16, the business cases for the 2015/16 schemes must be submitted by 30 September 2014.
