To seek approval for the investment of funding known as ‘Gainshare’ that has been generated through a Clawback mechanism in the Superfast Surrey contract to further the deployment of Next Generation Access (NGA) broadband infrastructure within a revised Intervention Area in accordance with State Aid funding regulations.
In addition, the Cabinet is asked to determine whether to spend unspent funds from the existing contract for the same purpose as outlined above.
