Approval is sought for local contributions for the addendum to the third tranche of schemes, for the 2016/17 Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) programme of EM3 and C2C LEPs. The Business Cases are due for submission during the winter of 2016/17.
The total estimated cost for these three schemes is £11.653m and we are seeking Local Growth Fund (LGF) contribution from the EM3 and C2C LEPs of £8.910m.
Approval is sought for County Council Economic Fund contribution of approximately £0.736m, for these schemes, of which £0.256m is funded from the Project Horizon budget. Therefore, £0.480m is new investment of direct Surrey County Council funding.
Partner contribution and S106 developer contributions are currently £2.007m, which could increase, as discussions are still in progress with partners.
Detailed design of these schemes could commence during Q4 of 2016/17.
