The Leader is asked to determine the statutory notice to close Downs Way School, so as to bring about the amalgamation of this school with St. Mary’s C of E Junior School, effective from 1 September 2018. The proposal will also incorporate the proposed expansion of Key Stage 2 provision within the newly amalgamated school.
