Strengthening of Farnham Road Bridge in Guildford town centre is required to avoid a 7.5Tweight limit being imposed. A weight limit would restrict HGV usage of the bridge causing significant economic implications as well as implications for public transport.
Funding has not been accounted for within the MTFP for this scheme and cabinet are requested to determine a suitable funding route from the options provided by the Highways and Transport Service
