Approve the business case for the project to contribute towards the cost of an all weather pitch on the school site, as an element of the agreement with Abbey Rangers Football Club to allow access to the sports fields, for which they hold a lease. The new free school will provide 6 Forms of Entry (900 places) to meet the demand for additional secondary places in Runnymede Borough from September 2017. The total cost of the all weather pitch is to funded by contributions from the council, the Education and Skills Funding Agency and Abbey Rangers Community football club. The all weather pitch is to be a shared facility between the school, Abbey Rangers Football Club and the wider community.
