Surrey County Council has been working in partnership with Guildford Borough Council to support the development and delivery of the Guildford Sustainable Movement Corridor (Phase 1) major scheme that was submitted directly by Guildford Borough Council during early January 2018 and which forms part of the Unlocking Guildford Package. To ensure that the tender is awarded as quickly as possible with minimal delay it is recommended that the decision to award and novate the contract is delegated to the Strategic Director for the Environment & Infrastructure.
