County Council has had to reluctantly postpone the Planning and
Regulatory Committee on 21 May 2020. This will be the first remote
meeting of this committee and officers feel that further time is
required in order to ensure that all legal requirements are met.
Specifically, the council needs to take steps to ensure that all
background documents are accessible available online.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, planning site
visits are not able to take place so footage of sites that are
being considered at the next committee meeting can be accessed on
the webcasting portal which can be accessed
Planning & Regulatory Committee considers the following
non-executive functions under the Local Authorities (Functions and
Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 Act as amended. The
Constitution sets out the remit of the Committee in
greater detail (within Part 3 – Sections 1 and 2). Many
