The Local Committee currently consists of 6 County Councillors and 6 co-opted District Councillors, and meets 4 times a year. Issues discussed include highways, transport, youth provision, education, libraries, community safety, and other matters affecting local residents and businesses.
County Councillors provide funding to local projects and initiatives making a difference to the community – please contact your County Councillor (details below) to find out how to make an application.
Members of the public are welcome to attend Local Committee meetings and are encouraged to engage with the Committee via petitions and public question time.
