Health and Wellbeing Board
Purpose of committee
The Surrey Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) and Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) meeting in common at combined meetings, and alongside the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board (ICB), form a “Health and Wellbeing Day”. Although the HWB and ICP will still remain as separate bodies with their own Terms
of Reference, the meeting will operate and meet in common.
The Surrey HWB is a statutory Board of the Council as required under the
Health and Social Care Act 2012.
Regarding the Surrey Heartlands ICP, all upper-tier local authorities that fall within the area of the ICB must establish an ICP as required in the Health and Care Act 2022.
